snake plant brown roots

Hi I have 2 snake plants one has brown roots . i took it out of the old soil put in new soil it now has 2 new stalks but still has brown roots i cut most out before i putit in new soil . can anyone help me on this [Mad]

Brown roots...may be root rot? For snake plants, let the soil dry slightly before you water them. Now that you repotted it, don't give it strong light. I keep my newly repotted plants (whether sick or healthy) in lower light for a day or so. Good luck!
