I recently bought a Dendrobium orchid. It flowered and now it is just sitting there. A stalk that was poking out of the growing medium did continue to grow another half an inch but then winter hit and it seems to be dormant. Should I keep watering it at the same rate even though it's not growing? Should I reduce the amount of water and just water it once a week giving it about a 1/4 cup of water? Any help would defintely keep this plant alive.

Let it dry out completely between waterings. They store some water in thier psudobulbs. Then water well and repeat. Feed 1/2 strength 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 or 15-30-15 every otherwatering and give it BRIGHT light.
