Hello, I recently rooted 2 avocado seeds in water based on information I found on the internet. Here's the problem: I put the wide end up and they've rooted upside down. Will the plant still come up, or should I turn the seeds around with the tip up? Thanks!

I did the exact same thing and have 2 very beautiful avocado plants. It takes a bit longer for the stem to come up but you can leave it as it is.

take a picture!! I cant seem to get any avocados to germinate [Frown] Are you supposed to let the seed dry before trying to germinate it? These were from fresh avocados that i ate up and rinsed the seed then directly put it in water with toothpicks. they seemed to split open days after from soaking in the water. [Frown]

I have done them both ways with success either way. The two plants I have now took a month to show roots and another few weeks to show stems. They are both about 6 months old now and looking good.

A tulip vase is great to root an avocado pit-if the pit is big enough to "sit" with its bottom just a wee bit in the water.
That way you don't have to stab the pit with toothpicks.
