I've read a few articles across the internet about how to make your own plant-food, though i'm not sure if they apply to indoor plants.
Does anyone have any tips or successful concoctions?

My indoor plants are largely succulents...

I don't make my own, but use a hydroponic solution (much diluted) because it contains all trace elements. I grow predominantly succ's, too, and they need more than nitrogen, phosphates, and potash.
