OK...I've been driving myself crazy looking all over for some kind of identification of this bush? Anyone have any inkling as to what it might be? If you need more info, or different pics, just let me know...Thanks so much!!

Purple loosestrife!

I have some too, BUT...
It has become very invasive the past several years and is actually banned in many places because it is clogging up streams and waterways. It grows unchecked along many highways here in wetlands and is just beautiful when in full bloom, but as I said, has caused many problems in the ecosystem.

Wow...thanks so much! As for its invasive-ness, so far, only that one plant...we'll see what happens, pretty little pest!
