Looks like a female Brown-headed Cowbird to me.......Yeppers! According to Sibley, it Is a female Brown-Headed Cowbird.

I have now learned, thanks to thorny, that cowbirds are evil..... [Razz]

I had a few here for the first time this year....when I told my niece that I had Cowbirds she just about killed herself laughing at me.

[Big Grin] [Big Grin] That is too funny, I was hoping and guessing for a more exotic bird! I always recognize the male and think it's nasty, only because I know it's habits. I never realized how pretty the female is.

My dad always called them and other nasty birds like grackles, starlings, seagulls, etc. "sh1tbirds" ! [shocked]

She is pretty, [grin] and they do make pretty noises, [grin] the little {{insert expletive here}} birds. [Razz]
