I planted 6 cantelope seeds in my starter pot. they came up beautifully till they got to be about 4 inches high. I have them sitting on the closed in back porch which is heated(I live in PA and it is only 25 here at night brrr!) I came home from work yesterday and only had to plants that had not wilted and were dying. what happened? I am heartsick. These seeds can from my nephew(4 years old) who dried them for me last year before he moved away. I don't want to lose my last 2 plants help!! [thinker]

LoriAnn,

What kind of dirt did you use??

And how are you watering them????

Are the stems dying right at the soil level???
