I would love to grow cantaloupe and watermelon. I quit trying, because those nasty hornets that burrow in the ground get them every time. I pick the fruit, cut it open, and get a scary surprise of hoards of hornets!

How do you keep bees and hornets out of the fruit?

(These are the same hornets (some people call them bees) that hang around trash bins and dumpsters.)

Any advice would be appreciated! [flower]
