Last night my neighbor was showing me the plants in his yard. He said his Japanese peony and another peony (??) are hard to come by and rather pricey. We are in Zone 3 and a small city...maybe that's why they are hard to come by..???They were BEAUTIFUL, I would love to have a few. They haven't bloomed yet but they have really nice feathery foliage. Do any of you have these???

I think he was referring to Japanese Tree Peonies. I have 3 of them, and they are a little expensive. They are also rather slow growing, taking about 5 or more years to reach their full growth.
