While wandering around a commercial Dahlia field, I came across a few non-Dahlias. I'm not sure what these flowers are... Osteospermum perhaps? Strawflowers? Can you help identify them please?

Bill, those are georgeous. Are you sure the center one is not a dahlia? it reminds me of something my mother had that I thought was a type of dahlia. anyway, they are beautiful.

my guess: middle picture
a hybrid of collarette dahlia, flowers with a ruffle short petals surrounding the disc like a lace collar?

Papito, does this mean I remembered right? that one of them IS a dahlia?? that Bill was WRONG about one? We love all our gardeners!!

My eyeballs think that they are zinnia's.... The flower looks like them and so does the leaves.... Whattya think???? Weezie
