Hi, All~

After my grandson's football game yesterday, my oldest daughter Lisa took me to a quaint plant shop near her home in Gainesville, Florida. She chose two beautiful cactus, but I (now Hoya-ized) chose this lush Hoya plant. It trails down from my planter about four feet to the floor.

Can someone help me ID it, so I'll know what kind of blooms to expect (with any luck!!)

And as always, any care advice is appreciated. It will be an indoor plant.

PM, see if you think it might be Hoya Bella "Variegata"

or...

Hoya Verticilata [Bogor] Marginata

Looks like Hoya carnosa, "Krimson Princess " not 100% sure though, even though I have this same one. I get H. Krimson princess and H. rubra mixed up.I also have Krimson Queen which has a white edge, so I'm pretty sure it's not that one.

Most hoyas do well in bright indirect light and watered well when soil has had a chance to pretty much dry out between waterings.

that's the Krimson Princess....shrimp pink blooms?? I'm in heaven!

There must be TONS of Hoya varieties, it's unbelieveable!!

Thanks for the ID and the advice. - Nikki

pekemom .... the picture you posted is the one I have.., I cut off alot of the cream and green leaves when I shared with members I have it hanging in a east Window and do let it dry out between watering like DowntoEarth says it's the one that for some reason gets some bubblegum pink leaves on it and deep pink vines this is a picture before I cut the plant back

In fact there were some leaves that were all cream color or all pale pink In the picture you posted I can see the deep pink vine like mine are too. I sent Buzylady some of this one, But I haven't seen her on here lately ..,Must be buzy!! [Wink] [Big Grin]
