I have a 5' rubber tree that seems very healthy, but is only growing straight up on a single stem. How can I make it develop branches, so that it grows out as well as up?

if you cut the top of, about 1/3 down, it will branch. and if you put the top in the pot with the bottom, it will root and give you another plant.
