Can you artificially pollinate a Venus fly trap?
If so, how do you do it? Does each plant have a certain gender or do they have both gender parts?
Can someone help me?

Info about Venus Fly Trap at

http://www.flytraps.com/newlook/grow.asp

from the same site:

quote:
When your flytrap shows signs of flowering it is important to cut the buds off. If the plant is allowed to flower, a huge amount of energy will be used and the plant will most likely die. Simply cut them off. Of course, if you try to pollinate to produce seeds you most certainly can but the health of your plant cannot be guaranteed.
