Looking to start a new one for a friend in Tennessee. Wondered if better to send a new shoot coming up from ground or send one of the pods from the plant. Thanks for any advice you can givce mwe. Petuna

Hi, I would send the the new shoot,as it would have a head start. You could send some pods. There are a LOT of seeds in them. They should be soaked overnight. I also scrape the seeds before I soak them. They grow pretty fast, but it takes a couple of years before you might get any blooms. At least that's what mine did. Good Luck

Thanks for the help. Didn't know to soak the seeds. I know mine took a few years to get started & now wants to take over all plants on the deck! Petuna
