HI AGAIN BILL. AWHILE AGO I E-MAILED YOU ABOUT MY REIGER BEGONIA. ALL OF THE BUDS HAVE FALLEN OFF AND NOE THE LEAVES ARE TURNING DARK BROWN AND GETTING CRISP. I PUT IT UNDER A GROW LIGHT TO TRY AND GIVE IT SOME HELP ON LIGHT SINCE ALL OF MY WINDOWS GET SUN AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER DURING THE DAY. IS THE GROW LIGHT NOT THE THING TO DO? CAN I TRIM DOWN AND LET IT START AGAIN OR IS IT TO LATE? I THOUGHT THEY WHERE EASY TO GROW HOWEVER MY BOSOTON FERN IS PROVING TO BE AN EASIER TASK TO HANDLE THAN THE BEGONIA. PLEASE HELP!

Hi fyd96,

I don't grow that particular brand of begonia's...

But mine go dormant as soon as it gets cold/fall time up here, and I stop watering them, and they go dormant... everything dries up, falls off and then come about spring time, I re~start~to~water and they sprout....for another summer..

Might you have a picture of them??

Can you repost your picture, if you have one up
in PLANTS AND FLOWER SECTION, and we'll see if we can help you a little further with your plants..

And Welcome to The Garden Helpers' Forum by the way, we are very glad you found us....
