Does anyone use moisture meters in container trees?
A friend bought them for her potted citrus trees.
Just to experiment, I placed the meter around the soil in the pots into different spots.
Each time the meter showed a different reading.
How then are these things reliable?

I use them on my Morning glory tree they will show the moisture in the place you stick them but will very around as most do not water evenly including me. I mainly use mine in the winter so I don't over water.
