Does anybody have any idea what might be eating the leaves on my pea plants? I planted 3-4 weeks ago and the plants are 1-2 inches high, and something is eating all the leaves off them. This happened last year and pretty much killed the plants. Everything else is fine - beans, corn, fava beans, and flowers.

It could be a few things including slugs and snails. Why not go out with a flashlight at night and see what you can find. Many pests are active at night. Once the sun has set and the heat goes out of the air a bit, take a close look around the plants. Once you know what you're dealing with you have a batter chance of erradicating them.
