Pacific Rhododendron Rhododendron macrophyllum
Washington's "State Flower"  -

Rhododendron catawbiensis album
(The botanical name would indicate that this Rhody would have a white flower (album=white) If you caught that, the reason (I guess)is that the flower turns from light lavender to a pure white as is matures.)  -
