Hello everyone,

I wanted to share my progress in my container garden with everyone. It covers a two months span of gardening in my new place.

I love what you've done with the rocks! Your container garden is much nicer than mine was last year.(before Rob created actual gardens for me)

Thank you Myndfull and Weezie,
I got the rocks at Wal Mart in the craft section. I used them to keep the soil from washing away .

I am going to start collecting rocks for the eventual cacti garden that I want to have.

Have a great day,

I love rocks, and my boys love rocks and my
father LOVED rocks..
So, I am biased..

You know what you can do to help keep the soil from washing toooo much away and keep the soil from splashing up on the plants is, get yourself some landscape fabric, size up the size/shape of the pot, and cut a circle the size of the top of the soil..
Then cut one slit into it, to the middle, and then another circle and put the stem of the plant into the inner circle..
***If you have 3 plants, it's a bit trickier,
but still works the same..

Then put your rocks on top..
It'll keep your rocks cleaner too...

I collect rocks EVERY WHERE I GO..
Seriously... but mostly we go to the creek
by our town park and have some memories of a fun day, and the rocks to remember it by..
