When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant.

I am a hummingbird FREAK!
Those photos were TOO cool!!!

We have a swarm of them right outside all the time, fighting over the feeders.
The other day I had to PHYSICALLY break up a fight (yes...I got to hold them!)

There's a lotta birds out there that'll do that thing. Most of the time what happens is one will be fed more, and the other will be a runt. The runt will be eventually kicked out of the next and possibly picked up by a predator >.< so ya that sux... but its nature's way of weeding em out. [scaredy]

Oh WOW,that was fabulous [flower] The pictures are precious!
I adore Hummingbirds and have quite a few that argue over my feeders. They are so funny to watch zipping all over the place.
