Pyrethrin Question for Iris

Has anyone used this on their iris to control the iris borers? We have a big problem with these pests where we live... [Mad]
I was wondering how well it worked and if the powder or spray is more effective. [dunno]

if you use a spray you need to use it when the adults are out and laying eggs. This is temperature dependant for your area. Once the borers are inside they pyrthrins are worthless.
