Soapwort......I have a pretty collection growing and want to know if there is a use for it ?
Started from seed last fall, and it is gorgouse right now with pink blooms.

From what I know it is one tough plant, and so I have read when crushed in water,roots produce sudsy,detergent-like lather.
B/4 The days of herbicides,it grew in cinders along railroads.
Thats about all I know
But, Very pretty Plant.

I am becoming really smart on this site..
The flowers on this plant are just wonderful and unexpected.. 10 cent seed pack last summer.
