Somewhat of a success

Success. A week ago I planted chives and spearmint. 3 of the 12 chive seeds I planted have sprouted already. I'll keep you all posted on the rest.

Some more will probably be sprouting for you. I would call it a success for me to have one sprout... [Wink]

they'll come up. Chives are gardener friendly. And I love having them for baked potatoes yum.

yes...I now have about 7or8 chive sprouts and 10or11 spearmint sprouts.

When you put them outside...
and they flower....
Just remember to leave them where they are,
and they will re~grow and re~seed for you
For the next coming years......

They like ordinary garden soil, nothing fancy..
just plain soil and leave them there..
They are very winter hardy..
And will come up for you, year after year..
