Where are the flowers?

Next fruit to give me trouble is the Aztec Horned Melon vine. It's huge! It's grown up the old cloths line pole and all over the ground. It keeps attacking the zinnia and babies breath located near by. And soon it will probably go after the dumpster.

Now admittedly I did plant it in compost. But my question is where are the flowers? Shouldn't they be showing up by now?

Tammy,
My guess would be that if you planted it in
compost, *which is a form of nitrogen*
you've gotten great "green growth".....

If it was me, I would give a quick foliar feed
of a liquid fertilizer *granular dissolved in water* with the number highest in the middle.... and spray on the leaves, in the early morning hours..
Just once or twice...

If you've gotten a good start with the green growth, it might just need a quick umpfff,
of a flower starter...

Thanks weezie,

I'll look for some middle number fertilizer to get them going.
