Potatoe "fruit" question

I noticed my potato plants are beraring small "fruits" - smaller than cherry tomatoes. I've not seen this before. Should I remove these to ensure the necessary nutrients get to the tubers instead of these above ground fruits?

You can if you want but i don't think it matters. If you've had flowers, then your potatoes are already forming. (I like to have a look see and pinch a few early ones).
