I'm growing these for the first time, thanks to seed provided by JohnCT. These are the prettiest little fruits I have ever seen, and I can only imagine how beautiful they'll be when the're full grown and red. These pictures don't really do them justice, but you can see that they're rather unique. There are a variety of shapes, from smooth to heavily ribbed. These little puppies are supposed to grow to 1 pound! The little tomato cage is temporary...this plant would crush that wimpy thing, I've got to get a good cage or stakes up. This plant is putting out tomatoes faster than I can believe!

Way cool, Dave!

Will you post more pictures later? I'd like to see some ripened.

Did they germinate easily for you?

And uh, what will you do with a bunch of 1 lb tomatoes?

Dave looks very good. Will be watching for updates as it appears to be one I may want to try next year. JD

Eat 'em! [Big Grin]
If I can't eat 'em all, I'll give some away. Yep, they germinated great. I'll certainly post pics as they progress. I took those pics yesterday, and I swear, that larger one has nearly doubled in size already, or so it seems.
JD...if I successfully save seed, I'll send you some.

Nicky, the plant is growing fast. I've got to get a larger cage or stake it, so I think it's going to get pretty big. It's indeterminate, so it could grow all season!

Ciao Dave,

Get ready for an eyes rolling back in the head experience as you taste your first one..sublime. It was easily in the top 5 of 60 plants grown last year...absolutely heaven on its own or in a starring role on a sandwich.

Cheers,
Julianna

Julianna, don't torture me! [Big Grin]
It's bad enough that I reread Caroline's description of it every other day, and check the plant 3 or 4 times a day! [nutz]
