I recently discovered the most peculiar insects on my ferns. [scaredy] They are small and flat and oval in shape. They are covered in white fuzz and appear to have about a million teeny legs and a pair of antennae. They don't really seem to move all that much. But they are secreting honeydew, the way scale bugs and aphids do. I've never seen anything like them. I'm stumped. [dunno]
Any ideas on what they are and how to get rid of them? Any help would be appreciated. [thumb]

Could they be a species of whitefly larva?
