yesterday at by brother in laws house i cuted a branch of rasberry plant,how do i transplant it and is ther a trick or two to it.do i absolutely need a rooting liquid or something.

No rasberry expert here, but I'd try sticking it in a jar full of water until it either roots or dies. I've had pretty good success with a lot of things left in water, maybe it works for rasberries too.
