The fern that you shot the last pic's through(all along the bottom of the picture)....is that possibly an Australian tree fern or a Tasmanian fern???? [dunno]

Out of curiousity what will happen to all the plants during your winter snow, ice times????
....remember I am from California....totally naive in this area.

That is a North American Wood Fern

All of the plants are hardy here in USDA zone 7 and already survived their first winter.
