What's going on with my pumpkins?

The rest of them are doing just fine...but these two [dunno] I don't want it to spread to the good ones...what can I do?

I think they may be just embryo fruit that weren't fertilised. So they go yellow and drop off and rot. Are the healthy ones on the same vine or are they on a different vine and is this particular vine the only one to display these symptoms?

The secret is the soil.

I'd side with Longy here. Looks like they weren't fertilized well enough or at all. Unless you see other problems with the vine or leaves.. that'd be my guess as well.

They were on the same vine as the healthy ones and yes it's the only vine to do this.

As long as ya'll don't think it's anything serious,I'll just keep a close eye on that vine.

Have you checked the base of your plant?
The big thick stem part around where it
comes out of the ground???

Do any of the leaves wilt in the afternoon???

And it's only one plant that has those fruit
on it??

( Do any of the leaves wilt in the afternoon???)

Yes they do as a matter of fact.

( And it's only one plant that has those fruit
on it??)

Yep...and the other fruits on the plant are healthy.

Go check the base of the plant
and look for something that looks like
sawdust on the dirt...
or a hole in the stem at the base of it
right where the soil meets where the
plant emerges from the soil....

Or any powdery mildew/white powder LIKE on
top of the leaves/??

I'm guessin' the squash bug though....
