Now that they are coming up, I know exactly where they are. I want to transplant some of them to the side of my house that the new garden is going to be at. Can you give me tips on how to do this??? Is there a certain way I need to dig them up? Is there a best time of day? I water them....do I compost around them too??

I also have some gerns that I want to transplant. Is there things I need to know about them or will the advice for the lilies apply to them as well??

Well as you know I am battling tiger lily along my house. I have been pulling them up pretty easily. Softening the ground with water helps & most just pull right up bulb, roots & all. They grow like crazy here even in poor rocky soil & in red clay...so as far as them needing special treatment...I would say nope:)
