I had been seeing this plant in roanoke (zone 7a) for several years now and never new what it was till yesterday when I saw it at my local garden center. Has anyone had any experience with it? It really is a spectacular plant in fall. seven-son flower

It sure is pretty. I am growing one from seed, so I haven't any real experience with it as of yet. I never knew what it was called either...my mom gave me seeds last fall from her shrub, which she calls her red bush for lack of knowing the name of it. But that photo is exactly what she's got, she will be happy to be able to put a name to it:) Thank you!
