I love the sweet scents wafting in the breeze. I stop to admire the vibrant colors of all living things. And people think me odd. Then ODD I am!!!

An evergreen(ever-red), shade tolerant, slow-growing, purple/maroon foliage shrub?! Now you're asking for miracles! [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [thinker]

it doesn't have to be a shrub how about a plant of some kind you know like you could put into a container with others? The area gets shade but it also get a little sun too in the afternoon?Does that help any?

Ajuga groundcover would help fill up a pot. It flowers, too. Purple spikes. Beautiful...

Calaidiums and Coleous's....
Both can take shade, and both can go into
containers nicely...

Caladium and Coleus are both tropical so you would have to bring them in once the night time temperatures reached 55 degrees F. And the Caladium also goes dormant for about 4 months a year. But the colors are right on.
