i planted some peas into larger pots from seedlings and put them out side but the center of the stem has weakened and 2 have died .i did stake them .is this the wrong way to do it?

what's the weather like where you are? Peas don't like heat, so they grow best in spring/fall.

I'd have to say the same as glamgirl,
They like the cooler weather....
But I'd also have to say, what kind of dirt and what are your watering practices or times and the fertilizer's are you using or not using??????
