I was at a friend's the other day who made the BEST salmon dip! I'll try to get the recipe for you tomorrow ...I know it uses fresh salmon though (on the west coast) but don't see why you can't substitute canned. [dunno]

Salmon Spread (dip)

1 carton Cream cheese spread
2 Tbsp grated onion
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp prepared horseradish (I add a little more)
1 tsp prepared mustard
1 can salmon, drained, bones & skin removed
2 Tbsp minced parsley

In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, onion lemon juice, horseradish and mustard. Stir in salmon. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with crackers or as a sandwich spread.

This is a really good appetizer...I always have a lot of people ask for the recipe...hope it works for you!
