A co-worker of mine has a peace lilly and for some reason the leaves keep turning yellow. We have been careful not to over water it. It was sitting in a North facing window, and we moved it to see if that would help, but never the less the leaves are still dying off. Can anyone give me some advice?

I have one that's 16-17 yrs old now.It gets bright (filtered) west light and watered only when the soils top couple inches feels near dry. That way, it's always semi moist, not sopping wet or too dry, being either too dry or too wet can cause yellowing leaves.
And any extra water in the saucer is promptly dumped out after it drains. [wavey]
