Mt husband loves cherries and wondered if we could plant acherry and get a tree? Has anyone tried this? [flower]

Not intentionally! I had several cherry trees at my farm house, and every summer when the birds ate the cherries and dropped the seeds, new trees sprouted EVERYWHERE! Guess if I hadn't mowed them down every week I would have had a zillion cherry trees!
