Do you grow the cotton just for the flower??? Or do you harvest the cotton?

HONESTLY, I'M JUST REALLY CURIOUS AS TO WHAT GREEN AND COPPER COTTON WOULD LOOK LIKE. I DON'T PLAN ON HARVESTING A LARGE QUANITY, IM THINKING MORE LIKE 3 OR FOUR PLANTS OF EACH... FROM WHAT I READ (GLANCED AT ACTUALLY- I BETTER GO BACK AND REALLY READ IT!) THERE WOULD BE ENOUGH TIME HERE IN THE MIDWEST FOR IT TO GO TO SEED... FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN, THE FLOWERS ARE BEAUTIFUL ON THESE DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF COTTON, SO THAT MAKES IT EVEN INTERESTING!!

If you do, would you please [gabby] keep us [critic] posted on it, we'd love to know,
and hear about it... really!!!!
sounds like alot of fun, and I have heard the
flower is pretty...
Would be great to see pictures and hear about it!

I have cotton growing here in Pennsylvania right now.......i did it last year also.. It is not colored, but white.....Pick the seeds out of the cotton ball and seed like any other seed......I will take a photo later.

yes it needs so many days, mine didnt have long enough but i have a gallon of balls direct from Arkansas with seeds galore.. I was told colored cotton is know to be a bad type, not good?//

How did all you people come out on your cotton?
I have some pure white cotton coming up and will be potted in large pots so they can be moved in and out weather permitting.
I will put a couple snaps of last years crop on my flower site later today.

I have cotton fields all around me that have already been harvested for this year. Only white though. How boring.
