Here are a couple of pics of the Daffodils along the edge of my front yard. (please try to ignore the brown grass!) I planted them 3 years ago. Last year a neighbor decided to help herself to them one night and cut every one of the flowers off. She denied it, of course, but I saw a vase full of them on her coffee table. Luckily, she has since moved.

That is very pretty!!!

Get any car accidents going around that corner,
and checkin' out the flowers??

I love the look of Bulbs growing up thru Johnny~jump~up's and Forget~me~nots!
Have you ever tried that effect??
jju's in front and the fmn's in the back...
Would make it really look like a bouquet out there...

But it is gorgeous, wish I had some flowers.. [Eek!]

But Thanks Alan for sharing yours!!!! [flower] [flower] [flower] [flower] [flower]

Just last month I was in bed watching TV...around midnight on Saturday...and I heard this awful crash. I ran outside and some guy in a truck had hit my garbage cans (that were at the end of the driveway) and then swerved over and plowed through the fence across the street and slammed into a heavy fence post. He had gotten out of the car and ran. I had horrible visions of him plowing over my dafs into my yard. Also last year someone hit the telephone pole.

I love your daffs. They look great. I expect in a week or so my bed should be in full bloom and I can't wait. I've got them in there pretty tight so it should be quite a show.

I'm glad your ex-neighbor moved. What a lousy thing to do. I mean one or two ok but a hole clump grrrrrh. I've already told the neighbors how to cut the flowers so they don't kill the hole plant. Last year was kind of hard on me when I would come out and they will have pulled it up by the roots.

I was really livid. If she had simply asked me I would have given her a few. It happened in the middle of the night. When I saw it the next morning I actually thought the girl living below her did it. I went to the woman's apt. (who actually did it) just to ask her if she had noticed anything. She didn't ask me in, said she didn't know anything, but I could see the vase of my dafs on the table behind her.

You are a stronger person than I. I'd have probably liften the entire row of them and moved them to a new location last fall and put up a big electrified fence. I go ballistic without warning sometimes. lol.

Beautiful daffs. People can be so inconsiderate at times. I had an aunt who landed here one day with a shovel, upon asking her what she was doing, she states "well, I want to cut some of your bushes and plants for my yard". Uh, NO.

If she would of asked first and waited til I was dividing, fine. She wanted to cut a new lilac bush that I had planted the week before.
