Hi all. I hope I'm in the right format. I've been all over this site. It's wonderful and full of good information.

Here's my problem. I have a palm - looks like parlor palm - that is approximately 9 feel tall (one stalk) and I'm not sure how to cut it back. What should I do?

Hi there,

True palms have only a single growing tip. If you cut it off, it will stop growing and never produce new fronds.

Can you post or e-mail me a photo of your palm so we can identify it for you? Click on my name to the left and you can get my e-mail address.
