My mom gave me 4 cuttings of her goldfish plant, all stuck in soil in one pot. I am wondering if they will root themselves and survive? they aren't looking too healthy and I had no idea how to propogate a goldfish plant but I hope it works. She just cut 4 pieces off of the plant, was there a certain spot where she had to cut or anything?

From what I could find on the net, they should root quite easily at the joints. They should be misted regularly while attempting to root. Did you use a rooting hormone on them?
Alot of cuttings will go through shock before starting to root, maybe thats what is happening [dunno]

Hope this Helps
