Toasted Pumpkin Seeds

  • 1 cup fresh pumpkin seeds
  • 3/4 Tbs. peanut oil
  • 3/4 Tbs. margarine (melted)
  • salt
Clara loves to bake cookies and treats

Roasting your Pumpkin Seeds

  • Preheat oven to 350° F.
  • Wipe pumpkin seeds to remove all pulp and fibers (DO NOT WASH THEM!)
  • Thoroughly coat seeds with oil/margarine mixture
  • Spread on cookie sheet in a single layer
  • Sprinkle with salt (to taste)
  • Toast for approximately 30 minutes until crisp and golden brown
